TACKLE REGISTRATION

Items of Note for Tackle Registration

  • Please make sure you choose the grade level your player will be in next school year, Fall 2025, not their current grade level.
  • Early Bird Discount ends June 1st. Save $25 and complete your registration prior to June 1st!
  • To help with the cost of tackle football, we give the option of a $50 deposit per player, and the balance due spread into 4 payments. (Select payment option on the last screen of registration.)
  • The 2025 player fees are $190 ($165 before June 1st) plus uniform cost of $145 (or $50 rental option), plus helmet/shoulder pad costs purchased on your own (or $50 rental option).
  • A multi-child discount of $25 applies at checkout when registering more than one player.
  • The league requires the following documents at mandatory weigh-in night in August. Begin collecting now and be prepared!
    • Proof of grade (grade card, yearbook photo, letter from school)
    • Birth certificate (photo copy only, not certified)
    • Sports physical (must be dated after February 1st of season year)

The Young Thunderbirds Football program believes every kid should have the opportunity to play football. Scholarships are available for families who would otherwise not have the funds to pay for fees. Scholarships are limited, and applications must be submitted by May 31, 2025. The Operating Committee will review and send out determinations by mid-June. If interested in a scholarship application, complete application here.
